Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
Our Response to God
What does God require of us?
What is our response and commitment to this Love?
The man answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind’; and ‘Love your neighbour as you love yourself.’”
Power Hour is about applying God’s word in Prayer. Having explored God’s commitment to us and our commitment to him – we invited listeners to first Ask Christ to be their Lord and Saviour
Dear God, I’ve heard of what your Son Jesus Christ did on the Cross for us
I come to ask for your forgiveness for all I have done, said, thought, my wrong attitudes and for the things I have left undone. I’m truly sorry
With your help, I turn away from these things.
Please now I accept you as Lord and Saviour over my life. Come into my life by your Spirit and help me to be the person you want me to be
We also invited people to ask God for a vision for their lives.
