Brian’s Good News – VSA(Voluntary Services Aberdeen) has teamed up with catering company Entier to help mark VSA’s 150′ th Anniversary to encourage everyone across the NE to take part in a vintage afternoon tea party with recipes cooked up by Entier’s chefs and bakers. Find out more about the great work of VSA. Host a tea party and help them to give back to the City by enabling them to open a 20 bed mental health unit in Aberdeen.
Graham Bennett is praising his wife and hospital staff after he fell ill and into a coma in Majorca. His organs were shutting down and he had <10% chance of surviving, Graham’s wife Iris has gone above and beyond the call of duty when she took care of him.
Members of Ythan Valley Rotary Club have launched a clothing bank to ensure that families and individuals in the area have clothing which may even be suitable for a job interview. Donations for the Clothing Bank can be handed in at Ellon Food Bank between 10 am – 12 pm Mondays and Fridays.
Wilma Mackland who championed Sunnybank Community Centre lost her battle with cancer. Her husband John and family were greatly heartened by the volume and sentiment of cards and messages which have been received. Sunnybank Centre want to continue the projects Wilma began.
