A 100 year old Aberdeen Lady Jesse Hay was surprised and delighted to be serenaded by a piper on the big day.  The surprise had been organised by her grandson Keith. Keith was away off shore and was not able to be there.

Toby McKillop who had himself been through difficulties has set up a mens mental health walking group – Pawpalz.  5-6 men regularly attend however a few are ill equipped.  Toby has appealed for warm clothing, jackets ond boots to allow the men to fully get the most from their experience with the group. A local business APEX Tubulars has helped Dyce Charity AberNecessities with a van.  AberNecessities has hailed the van as a game changer enabling them to speed up collections from the drop off points and get items to those most in need much faster.

An artist Annie Grant whose grandmother is at Balmedie Care Home has completed a mural on the wall of a ballroom cafe which is used by residents. Both residents, the care home staff are delighted with the mural which shows a path leading to distant mountains to give the idea of venturing forth somewhere.
