Each of the writers of the Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John write from a different perspective. John, in particular captures some of the more intimate aspects of Jesus talking with his disciples. Some aspects about Jesus’ life are highlighted while others are skipped. In this way we can get a fuller more detailed understanding of the man who Jesus was.
This Easter week, we turn Hearing is Believing over to broadcasting The Easter Story. In essence, this story is true and not just for this season. It is to be remembered in the context of who Jesus Christ Son of God was, is and why He came to die on the cross.
It was because of his Love and obedience and God’s intimate all consuming love for each of us that when we confess and accept Salvation as offered through Christ dying for us.
